The Aputure Amaran Halo LED Ring Light uses new led color rendering technology for critical applications. Each light contains 100 LEDs with a high color rendering index (CRI) of 95+. This new technology provides double the light output of our previous 60 LED model. The light produced is daylight balanced at 5500K (+/- 200K). The light can be used in Continuous or Flash mode making it an excellent tool for macro photography or videography. The left and right sides of the light can be turned on or off independently to create more dramatic lighting effects. The stepless brightness control ranges from 1/4 to full power. Flicker-free light in continuous mode makes DSLR videography a breeze. The ring can be mounted on the end of the lens or on the control module to provide different lighting angles. This light is the ideal solution for macro photography and videography including nature, technical, medical and scientific applications.
