If you are looking for an outdoor motion sensitive light solution that doesn’t require costly and time consuming wiring and installation, then this is the product for you. The 16 LED lights are very bright and cast a surprising amount of light in a dark area and are still helpful in dim light conditions. Probably one of my favorite features is how easy it is to install. Because these lights are not very heavy, all they need is two small screws that come with each light (with the possibility of expansion plugs also provided).
We wanted a little extra light as a security measure by our back door where there is no peephole to discreetly visually identify visitors. Since this light turns on with motion, it acts as a deterrent to unwanted company who may be hoping to find an empty house. This light senses motion within about 3-5 meters. And really, anything more sensitive than that it would never turn off between cars driving down the street and various neighborhood animals.
The Suaoki motion lights are solar charged so a nice bright day should be sufficient to keep it operating all night long. And there are three different light settings to choose from as well. Mode 1 is similar to a night light. It will stay lit as long as it is dark out. Obviously the light will not likely have enough charge from the previous day to operate all night long in this setting. Mode 2 switches between giving off bright and dim light depending on if any motion is detected. Mode 3 operates based on motion as well, but turns off after 20-25 seconds once no motion is detected.
Overall this is a very versatile solar light that is easy to install and cost effective. It is offered as single lights or packs of two, but take my word for it and order the two pack. I had a discount but wish we wish we had ordered the two pack anyway!!
